Happy Caturday 🐈 from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's day, however, the stepping went on and it's right about now that I let you in on how my day has been and also share some of the day's trending stories. As always thank you for stopping by and let's get going 💨.
So just like yesterday, I made a few rounds around the neighborhood 🌲.Then I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. The weekends are for idle politicians.
Globally, thousands of people in Bamako, Mali celebrated in the streets as France withdraws troops😵. They probably felt over burdened by the French.
Speaking at the Munich security conference, Ukrainian president has said Ukraine is Europe's shield against Russia and therefore deserves stronger international support. Meanwhile, fighting escalated in East Ukraine, separatists Donbass region😱.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still at 40k. Some analysts are predicting further dips before it recovers, seems like bitcoin is following the stock market.
Later in the afternoon, I was at the mall for the usual bowling 🎳 session. Next I was back home for a short afternoon nap 💤.
I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, police in Canada are closing in on the remaining protesting truckers. Across the pond in northern Europe, storm ⚡☔ Eunice has caused destruction with lots of strong winds and rain. Somewhere in Kashmir, a strange event as a sink hole swallowed up a stream😱.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. Nice slow paced walk that winds down my day. As always the cool evening breeze 🍃 made it quite enjoyable 💯.
