Hello everyone 👋,
Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Definitely another 24 hours to be grateful for and as always I appreciate you stopping by yet again 👏. Let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and share some of the trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So as usual, I began the day early with the fast paced morning session. It was great, brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲 in the cool morning breeze 🍃.
Next I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, more political shenanigans in the UK, as prime minister Johnson offered an apology for attending a garden party in 2020 while the lockdown was on. Many MPs have asked him to resign😹. Elsewhere in Geneva the high stakes meeting to resolve Ukraine crisis ended without a breakthrough. Russia is adamant that Ukraine should never be allowed to join NATO😵.
Tonight Nigeria is lifting its ban on Twitter after blocking the website for seven months👏.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is up a little, at 44k. But it always seems to do what it likes, it could be back to 40😹. You know the drill, hodl and buy the dip.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the city centre 🌲 for a couple of errands.
When I got back home 🏡, it was nap 💤 time. And what a great nap it was, I woke up some time early evening feeling well rested 💯.
Then I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in the US, Prince Andrew is set to face a civil lawsuit for sexual abuse he allegedly did in 2009, this after a court in New York authorized the case to move on😱.
Remember,it's civil not criminal so he probably won't be in court and besides he is over in the UK; I don't know if being the Queen's son gives him some immunity 😵. Let's see how that goes.
Anyways as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. I followed the usual route, enjoyed my slow paced walk and made it back home 🏡 safe and sound calling it a day 🙌.
