Hello everyone 👋,
Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. It's the last day of June and the stepping continued unabated🏃. Thank you for being here and as always let's quickly take a look at how my day turned out. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off the day early with the usual brisk walking 👣 around the cloudy neighborhood. I definitely enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃.
Having achieved my automaticwin,I was back indoors around ten o'clock. Then I rested a little before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 and the plannedemic vaccinations kept going. Millions of vaccines are about to get here in August according to a govt announcement.
Globally, the Kenyan president and other leaders stopped by in Paris for some sort of conference.
Another trending story was the heat wave in Canada and parts of the US. I can't imagine 49 degrees weather, it hardly hits 30 here in Nairobi ; we are currently in winter ❄️, I can't leave the house without a jumper sweater. What a contrast 😱.
Over in crypto land bitcoin, stuck at 34k after subtly moving to 36k yesterday. As usual no one knows it's short term movement 😉.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the park 🌲 just to rest my eyes 👀 from the screen and get some fresh air 🍃. Mostly a cloudy day as I made my way.
Then I was back for the usual nap 💤, I woke up some time early evening feeling great 💪 and well rested 💯. Next I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
In the US, the Pennsylvania supreme court overturned the sexual assault conviction on Bill Cosby 😱, setting him free from the ten year sentence. He has already served two years. Elsewhere, N.Korea's Kim Jong-un fired top officials for their lapses in dealing with covid-19 pandemic 😱.
As the evening set in I stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. I had an extended walk on the usual route and made it back home 🏡 safe and sound calling it a day 🙌.
