Hello everyone π,
Tip your hats for Bob and yours truly on another exciting CaturdayπΉ. You definitely know the drill every Saturday. It's been an active day and as it draws to a close am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share some of the trending stories that caught my eye . As always I love you for stopping by yet again and now let's get started π¨.
So as usual the fast paced morning session was what I started with, brisk walking and jogging around the neighbourhood. It was a chilly morning but the walking kept me warm as I made my way. Then I was back indoors for the usual routine, household chore, resting and checking in on the news. Later in the afternoon I was at the mall meeting a couple of former colleagues. Then I walked around for a while before heading back home. Next was the refreshing napπ€, woke up to some loud neighbours cheering on some football game, must have been the EPL, today they had lots of interesting games going.
Then it was time for the evening walk, the slow paced walk that winds down my day. I got my sweet potatoes on a slow boil before heading out. Next let's quickly take a look at what's trending in the media streets.
Here locally, nothing much going on except the usual political shenanigans πΉ, so much talk on the upcoming election case at the supreme court. An airstrike reported in northern Ethiopia as the govt and Tigray rebels go at it. Elsewhere in Libya, sporadic clashes among members of different parties, the political elite are responsible for causing the tension.
Over in Ukraine, the nuclear plant in jeopardy again as there was shelling reported around that area as Ukraine and Russia accuse each otherπ±. On a positive note, Ukraine have reported exporting one million tonnes of grain since 4th of August when they startedπ―. Elsewhere in Italy, the Pope has named twenty new Cardinals mostly from Africa and Asia. Then Kosovo and Serbia reached a solution on free movement across their borders, there had been some tension with identification documents. In the UK, Princess Diana's 1985 Ford Escort, was auctioned for 650,000 poundsπ.
In crazy weather, Flooding reported in some parts of west Africa and also in Afghanistan. Remember neighbouring Pakistan has suffered floods as aggressive moonson season rages on.
Do check me out yet again tomorrow on an amazing Sunday funday π. Until then keep stepping and enjoying your weekend π. That's all I got, stay safe take care and adiosπππ Hakuna Matata π
