This summer, my family and I spent some wonderful days in Spain, more specifically in the beautiful Alicante region. We had heard a lot about the beaches in this area, and we were excited to discover them ourselves. One of the places that really impressed us was San Juan Playa, a beach that truly felt like a small piece of paradise.

T铆nhamos ouvido falar muito sobre as praias da regi茫o e est谩vamos ansiosos por descobri-las. Um dos locais que realmente nos impressionou foi a Praia de San Juan, uma praia que parecia mesmo um pedacinho do para铆so.
We started our day by taking the Tram from our accommodation directly to San Juan. The tram system in Alicante is modern, efficient, and incredibly easy to use, even for tourists. The kid was excited just to ride it and honestly, we enjoyed it too. The journey was very short in just 5 minutes we had arrived at our destination. It was fast, clean, and a very practical way to get around without having to worry about driving or parking.

Come莽amos o dia por apanhar o el茅trico da nossa acomoda莽茫o diretamente para San Juan. O sistema de el茅tricos em Alicante 茅 moderno, eficiente e incrivelmente f谩cil de utilizar, mesmo para os turistas. A crian莽a ficou entusiasmada s贸 de andar e, sinceramente, n贸s tamb茅m ador谩mos. A viagem foi bastante curta: cheg谩mos ao nosso destino em apenas 5 minutos. Foi r谩pido, limpo e uma forma muito pr谩tica de nos deslocarmos sem ter de nos preocupar em conduzir ou estacionar.
As soon as we stepped off the tram, we were hit by the intense summer heat. The temperature was around 33 to 34 degrees Celsius and the sun was shining brightly. Even though it was hot, the atmosphere was joyful and full of life.

When we reached San Juan Playa, we were absolutely enchanted. The first impression was stunning. The beach is huge, stretching for several kilometers, and that size makes a big difference. Despite being a popular destination, it didn't feel crowded at all. There was space for everyone, for those who wanted to sunbathe quietly, for families playing in the sand, and for people simply enjoying a walk by the sea.

Quando cheg谩mos 脿 Praia de San Juan, fic谩mos absolutamente encantados. A primeira impress茫o foi impressionante. A praia 茅 enorme, com v谩rios quil贸metros de extens茫o, e esta dimens茫o faz toda a diferen莽a. Apesar de ser um destino popular, n茫o parecia estar cheia. Havia espa莽o para todos: para quem quisesse apanhar sol tranquilamente, para fam铆lias a brincar na areia e para quem simplesmente desfrutasse de um passeio 脿 beira-mar.
What really stood out was the golden color of the sand, something truly special. The sand was also very soft and clean, making it ideal for walking barefoot or for the kids to build sandcastles. The beach had a long, wide shoreline that felt endless, giving it that postcard-perfect feeling. The combination of space, light, and the sound of the waves made us feel relaxed and happy from the moment we arrived.

O que realmente se destacou foi a cor dourada da areia, algo verdadeiramente especial. A areia era tamb茅m muito macia e limpa, sendo ideal para caminhar descal莽a ou para as crian莽as constru铆rem castelos de areia. A praia tinha uma orla longa e larga que parecia infinita, dando-lhe aquela sensa莽茫o perfeita de postal. A combina莽茫o de espa莽o, luz e o som das ondas fez-nos sentir relaxados e felizes desde o momento em que cheg谩mos.
Around lunchtime, we started feeling hungry, and luckily, San Juan Playa has many restaurants very close to the sand. It's incredibly convenient you don't need to walk far or even leave the beach area to find a good meal. We chose a small beachfront restaurant with outdoor seating. The smell of fresh seafood and grilled dishes filled the air, and it was impossible to resist.

Por volta da hora de almo莽o, come莽谩mos a sentir fome e, felizmente, San Juan Playa tem muitos restaurantes mesmo perto da areia. 脡 incrivelmente conveniente, n茫o precisa de caminhar muito nem sair da zona da praia para encontrar uma boa refei莽茫o. Escolhemos um pequeno restaurante 脿 beira-mar com mesas ao ar livre. O cheiro a marisco fresco e grelhado enchia o ar, e foi imposs铆vel resistir.
We ordered paella, some grilled sardines and a few cold drinks to cool down. The food was delicious, full of Mediterranean flavor and the service was friendly and relaxed. Eating right by the beach, with the sea breeze in our faces and the sound of waves in the background, made the meal even more enjoyable. It was a perfect family lunch.

Pedimos paella, sardinhas grelhadas e algumas bebidas frescas para nos refrescarmos. A comida estava deliciosa, repleta de sabores mediterr芒nicos, e o servi莽o foi simp谩tico e descontra铆do. Comer 脿 beira da praia, com a brisa do mar na cara e o som das ondas ao fundo, tornou a refei莽茫o ainda mais agrad谩vel. Foi um almo莽o de fam铆lia perfeito.
San Juan Playa gave us a perfect day. It had everything we wanted, a clean, wide beach, soft golden sand, warm and clear water, tasty food nearby, and a peaceful walk by the sea. The easy tram ride made the trip even more enjoyable. We didn't need to stress about traffic or parking and the kid loved the tram experience.

San Juan Playa proporcionou-nos um dia perfeito. Tinha tudo o que quer铆amos: uma praia limpa e ampla, areia fina e dourada, 谩gua quente e cristalina, comida saborosa nas proximidades e um passeio tranquilo 脿 beira-mar. O passeio tranquilo de el茅trico tornou a viagem ainda mais agrad谩vel. N茫o temos de nos preocupar com o tr芒nsito ou com o estacionamento, e a crian莽a adorou a experi锚ncia de el茅trico.
The weather was very hot, yes, but we were prepared and the sea made it all worth it. It is amazing to spending the day near the ocean with your family, especially in a place as beautiful and well-organized as San Juan.

O tempo estava muito quente, sim, mas est谩vamos preparados, e o mar fez com que tudo valesse a pena. 脡 incr铆vel passar o dia perto do oceano com a fam铆lia, especialmente num lugar t茫o bonito e bem organizado como San Juan.
