Today, as I stepped onto the wooden walkways of Marreco Beach in Lavra, the mist created an almost dreamlike atmosphere, softening the edges of the familiar landscape. The ocean murmured in the distance, and the salty air carried a quiet nostalgia for the warmth of summer days now gone.
This morning, I decided to go for a walk on the beach of Marreco in Lavra. The sun was still hiding, and the air was fresh. It was early, just after sunrise, but the sky was completely covered with a thick fog. The ocean waves crashed gently against the shore, creating a peaceful soundtrack for my walk.

Esta manh茫, decidi dar um passeio na praia do Marreco, em Lavra. O sol ainda se escondia e o ar estava fresco. Era cedo, logo ap贸s o nascer do sol, mas o c茅u estava completamente coberto por uma espessa neblina. As ondas do oceano batiam suavemente na costa, criando uma banda sonora tranquila para a minha caminhada.
As I stepped onto the wooden walkways, the mist made everything look mysterious. The wooden paths stretched along the coastline, disappearing into the fog. It felt like I was walking into a dream, where the world was quiet, and only the sound of my footsteps and the distant seagulls could be heard. The fresh scent of the ocean mixed with the damp wooden boards beneath my feet, adding to the immersive experience.

Ao pisar os passadi莽os de madeira, a neblina fez com que tudo parecesse misterioso. Os caminhos de madeira estendiam-se ao longo da costa, desaparecendo na neblina. Era como se estivesse a entrar num sonho, onde o mundo estava quieto, e apenas o som dos meus passos e das gaivotas distantes se ouviam. O aroma fresco do oceano misturado com as t谩buas de madeira h煤midas debaixo dos meus p茅s, contribuindo para a experi锚ncia imersiva.
Walking along the beach in the morning has always been one of my favourite things to do. The fog made it even more special, turning the familiar landscape into a new and exciting place to explore. The silhouettes of distant figures walking along the shore appeared and disappeared like ghosts, blending into the mist as quickly as they emerged.

Caminhar pela praia de manh茫 sempre foi uma das coisas que mais gostei de fazer. A neblina tornou tudo ainda mais especial, transformando a paisagem familiar num lugar novo e emocionante para explorar. As silhuetas de figuras distantes que caminhavam pela costa apareciam e desapareciam como fantasmas, misturando-se com a n茅voa t茫o rapidamente como emergiam.
I love walking here, especially in the summer. This morning reminded me of one particular day last August when I came to this same beach. That day, the fog was just as dense, making it feel like I was inside a cloud. Even though summer is over, looking at those photos brings back warm memories.

Adoro caminhar aqui, especialmente no ver茫o. Esta manh茫 fez-me lembrar um dia em particular em agosto passado, quando cheguei a esta mesma praia. Naquele dia, o nevoeiro estava t茫o denso que parecia que eu estava dentro de uma nuvem. Mesmo que o ver茫o tenha acabado, olhar para estas fotos traz-me boas recorda莽玫es.
The sand looks softer, the ocean seems calmer, and the whole place feels like another world. Today, I felt a little nostalgic, missing those long summer days when the beach was full of people, children playing and families enjoying their time together. Now, the beach was almost empty, except for a few early walkers like me and some fishermen standing near the water. The sound of the waves crashing gently on the shore was uninterrupted by the usual summer laughter and chatter. The absence of noise made me feel even more connected to nature.

A areia parece mais macia, o oceano parece mais calmo e todo o lugar parece outro mundo. Hoje, senti-me um pouco nost谩lgico, com saudades daqueles longos dias de ver茫o, em que a praia estava cheia de gente, crian莽as a brincar e fam铆lias a aproveitar o tempo juntas. Agora, a praia estava quase vazia, exceto por alguns caminhantes madrugadores como eu e alguns pescadores parados perto da 谩gua. O som das ondas a rebentarem suavemente na praia n茫o era interrompido pelas habituais gargalhadas e conversas de ver茫o. A aus锚ncia de ru铆do fez-me sentir ainda mais conectado com a natureza.
The occasional cyclist passed by, their bright jackets standing out against the gray backdrop. Even in the fog, life continued, and people found ways to enjoy the beauty of the beach in their own way.
The dunes on the side of the walkway were covered in tufts of grass, their tips swaying slightly in the light morning breeze. The plants here are strong, built to withstand the salty air and harsh coastal winds. Every now and then, I saw small birds darting between the grasses, searching for food or shelter. The ecosystem here is delicate, yet it thrives in these conditions.

De vez em quando, passavam ciclistas, com os seus casacos brilhantes a destacarem-se contra o fundo cinzento. Mesmo no nevoeiro, a vida continuou, e as pessoas encontraram formas de desfrutar da beleza da praia 脿 sua maneira.
As dunas junto 脿 passarela estavam cobertas de tufos de erva, cujas pontas balan莽avam ligeiramente na brisa leve da manh茫. As plantas aqui s茫o fortes, feitas para suportar o ar salgado e os fortes ventos costeiros. De vez em quando, via pequenos p谩ssaros a voar entre as ervas, em busca de alimento ou abrigo. O ecossistema aqui 茅 delicado, mas prospera nestas condi莽玫es.
As I continued walking, I saw several caravans parked nearby. This area is popular with travellers, especially in the warmer months. People come here with their vans and campers, enjoying the peaceful environment and waking up to the sound of the waves. Even in autumn, some caravans remain, their owners embracing the slower rhythm of life by the sea.

Enquanto continuava a caminhar, vi v谩rias caravanas estacionadas ali perto. Esta 谩rea 茅 popular entre os viajantes, especialmente nos meses mais quentes. As pessoas v锚m aqui com as suas carrinhas e roulottes, aproveitando o ambiente tranquilo e acordando com o som das ondas. Mesmo no outono, algumas caravanas permanecem, e os seus donos abra莽am o ritmo mais lento da vida 脿 beira-mar.
At the end of my walk, I reached one of my favourite spots, the colorful basketball court near the beach. It's a public space, open to everyone, and it always adds a lively touch to the area. The bright colors of the court contrast with the foggy sky, making it stand out even more. Sometimes, you can see people playing a casual game, but today, it was quiet, waiting for the next group to bring it to life.

No final da minha caminhada, cheguei a um dos meus locais favoritos, o campo de basquetebol colorido perto da praia. 脡 um espa莽o p煤blico, aberto a todos, e acrescenta sempre um toque animado ao local. As cores brilhantes da quadra contrastam com o c茅u enevoado, fazendo com que se destaque ainda mais. Por vezes, pode ver-se pessoas a jogar um jogo casual, mas hoje estava calmo, 脿 espera que o pr贸ximo grupo desse vida ao jogo.
