Greetings to all Splinterlands players! this is my entry for Battle Weekly Challenge this is a popular event held by Splinterlands every week. The theme today is Aim True Ruleset, Splinterlands team change the theme usually monsters but this time the theme is the ruleset.
This is a battle in the Modern Format Diamond League, I played with my scholar account from Balthazar.
The guide presents a strategy on how to advance through the ranks by utilizing reasonably priced or cheap-to-rent monsters that can still prove effective.

We will first talk a bit about the theme in this battle, it change from previous Battle Weekly Challenge. This time the theme right now is about the ruleset. For this week the theme is Aim True Ruleset.
With this ruleset all type of attack melee, range, and magic will always hit the target. We have some guide when battling with this aim true ruleset :
We decided to use Water element, because the summoner can give Armor and speed. It have very fast monster like Pelacor Bandit.
This is our lineup from left (first position) to right (last position) :
| Summoner/monster and Abilities | Description |
|---|---|
| Kelya Frendul (summoner), make all friendly monster have +1 speed and armor | Very good summoner for this battle the shield will prolong the life of our monster. With high speed, we can attack first before our enemy attacks, if lucky we can kill the enemy before they can attack. |
| Pelacor Bandit, 1st position, Attacker and Tanker. Has the ability sneak and Flying | With high speed and damage we put this in the first position, have high change to attack first, hope can kill enemy before the enemy can kill him. Usually this monster used for the Sneak ability (attack monster in the last position) and put it behind, but we want the attack to focus fire in the first position so we only bring the monster who can attack first position monster. |
| Tide bitter, 2nd position, 2nd tanker and attacker. Has the ability reach, Reflection shield , and aim True abilities. | Can attack from 2nd position because have reach ability. With Reflection shield, the effect of blast / thorn ability have no damage. |
| Igor Darkspear. 3th position, attacker. Has stun ability | It has a very useful ability in this battle, If inflicted by stun ability will make the enemy can't do anything for 1 round, the chance to inflict the stun status is 50% every attack. Only cost 2 mana and has 3 damage this monster is very good. |
| Angelic Mandarin, 4th position, attacker, and support. Has Triage and Silence ability | Put in this position because this monsters can heal, Triage ability can heal monsters not in the first position, and silence ability will decrease enemy magic attack by 1. I think Igor Darkspear more useful than Angelic Mandarin in this battle, because has stun ability so i need to protect it, and put the angelic mandarin in 5th position, i think the enemy will bring sneak monster. |
| Torrent Fiend, 5th position, Tanker. Has Headwinds ability | Put in the last position just to protect Angelic Mandarin from Sneak Attack, Headwinds actually very useful if battle against many range monster, because can decrease the enemy range attack by 1. |

Rounds 4 :
Our Side :
Enemy Side :
Round 5 :
In this round, our situation is quite worrying because there are only 2 arrow monsters left and only 1 can attack in second position and is also poisoned.
Rounds 6
Our Side :
Enemy Side :
In this round, our situation is quite worrying because there are only 2 range monsters left and only 1 can attack in second position and is also poisoned.
Round 7 :
No monsters die in this round.
In this round the situation reversed, the enemy couldn't attack us, while we still had 1 monster, the Angelic Mandarin range monster that could attack.
Rounds 8-11 :
Nothing changed until round 11, where the enemy Igor Darkspear finally died in this round.
The only remaining enemy is Torrent Fiend.
Round 12-15 :
Almost same battle from round 12-15, Torrent Fiend keep attacking our Igor Darkspear, while our Angelic mandarin attacked the torrent Fiend.
We almost lost in this round, the difference between win and lost only 1 hit. Igor Darkspear only had 1 HP left, before Torrent Fiend had time to attack, our Angelic Mandarin attack and killed Torrent Fiend first.
Thus in this battle the victory is once again on our side
Yes, our strategy is going well, but the enemy has extraordinary luck, where every attack that has negative abilities such as stun and poison always succeeds in hitting our monsters even though the chance is only 50%.
Meanwhile, Stun from our monster Igor Darkspear never hits the enemy monsters.
In this battle, our victory was not very convincing, because the luck not on our side ๐. In the end, the victory was determined by just one attack. Whoever attacked first would win, that is when our luck / strategy come in play ๐.
