Todays 39 mana battle was very interesting and exciting. The main reason was that it had three special rulesets. If you understand these rulesets correctly then no doubt your win rate will increase.
The biggest mistake many players make is, that they do not fully understand the rulesets. As a result they do not select the right monsters for the battle.
It is actually very simple. First, understand the rulesets. Then choose your monsters according to those rules and enter the battle. This will greatly improve your win rate.
In this 39 mana battle, my strategy was completely based on the rulesets. Let's first look at the three special rulesets.
TRUE STRIKE
The first ruleset was True. This ruleset gives every unit the True Strike ability. True Strike means that no attack will miss. Even if the enemy has abilities that normally cause attacks to miss, they will not work because every attack lands successfully under this ruleset.
FEROCITY
The second ruleset was Ferocity. In this ruleset, every unit gains the Fury ability. Fury deals double damage to any target that has the Taunt ability. Because of this, you should avoid selecting monsters with Taunt. Otherwise, they will take double damage instead of normal damage, which can quickly eliminate your frontline.
EGGCELERATION
The third ruleset was eggceleration. At the end of every round all surviving units gain +1 to their stats. This bonus continues every round making surviving monsters stronger and more dangerous as the battle goes on.
Keeping these three rulesets in mind, the best strategy is to choose monsters that deal heavy damage. Since no attacks can miss, every hit will land successfully and deal maximum damage to the enemy team.
You should also avoid monsters with the Taunt ability because they become an easy target and receive double damage in this ruleset.
Another good strategy is to choose monsters with high health. Since surviving monsters continue gaining stat bonuses every round, they become even stronger and stay alive much longer.
For this battle, I selected an Archon that gives +1 Speed to all my monsters. This increased the attack speed of my entire team.
I had a few monsters with the Taunt ability, but I ignored them completely. Instead, I preferred ranged attackers.
I selected five monsters, while the enemy selected only four.
My lineup started with a strong melee tank in the frontline. Behind it, I placed another melee attacker with the Reach ability. Reach allows a melee monster to attack from the second position, making it very effective throughout the battle.
In the middle positions, I placed two ranged attackers. Finally, I added a magic attacker at the back to deal damage through enemy armor.
Because my team had very strong strikers, the enemy tank was eliminated after only a few hits which destroyed its tank monster. After that powerful attackers continued defeating the enemy monsters one by one until I secured a great victory.
My strategy perfectly matched the battle rulesets, and that is why I won this battle so comfortably.
If you get the same combination of rulesets, what strategy would you use? Which monsters would you prefer? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
