We have lots of friends in our life. We have different categories of friends like childhood friends, neighborhood friends, school friends, college friends, friends of common friends, and last but not the least the most important social media friends. Whom we may or may not know in person or maybe never going to meet in person but they play a huge role in our life.
Many people whom we met online through facebook, snapchat or any other social networking site are not same as they look on social media. Today we are in a race of looking good and showing the world that we own this and that and my lifestyle is that luxurious. But does all this worth it? Is it really important to look good on outside when you have nothing good inside.
I see people on snapchat using filter of dogs and animals etc. I saw people on instagram looking so perfect flawless and rich and they are so concerned about their likes on pictures and stories on facebook insta that they just forget the people who are actually with them, sitting besides them.
People are being so nice on these social networking sites with each other, they just show the perfect version of anyone could be. But when you meet them in person you don't like them because the person is not the same as you think he'll or shell be. Because our expectations are sky high for them and theirs as too. And then the friendship doesn't lasts even days.
Anyways now a days we have a friend list that shows hundreds or even thousands of friends. But in real life we don't even have a single friend whom we can count on.
- I just think we are living example of perfectly messed up generation*
We all are not clear about what we want. We are always confused. And we just want to impress others on social media. Those who are in front of us who are with us we just choose to ignore them and adore the one's who are not even our friends.
