Pod czas gdy Europa zatraca się w biurokratycznym systemie, pełnym farmaceutycznych demonów, w Stanach jest wielki bum powrotu do źródeł. Kto z was odwiedził stan Oregon, lub będzie miał taką szansę z pewnością otworzy oczy ale i serca na "Hipisów". Jednym ze słynniejszych miast Oregonu jest Ashland które w sumie zostało wyprowane przez Johnego Deppa który w jednym z wywiadów uznał że jest to jego ulubione miejsce w USA. Jak dobrze wiecie (lub też nie), poza Kalifornią jest to kolejny stan który propaguje miłość do Marihuany. Kto zapoznał się z kulturą hipisowską, stawia Ashland na piedestale marząc by w ich regionie też znalazło się takie miasto... z niskim % przestępczości, czyste i przyjazne, otwarte na inność. I tak w Karolinie Północnej możemy cieszyć się z istnienia Asheville. Jest ono nie tylko zdecydowanie większe ale i bardziej przyjazne. W moim odczuciu Ashland (Or) jest przereklamowane, nie tylko zbyt wysokimi cenami za produkty lokalne ale i ograniczeniami jakie wprowadza w strefie miejskiej ( jaki sens jest posiadać park miejski jeśli nie możesz w nim wyprowadzić psa na spacer!? ). Asheville jest nie tylko bardziej dostępne dla naszych kieszeni ale i dla naszych potrzeb. Władze miasta wciąż dbają o to by komfort obywateli ale i zwiedzających był na godnym poziomie. W Asheville dominuje ogromny szacunek dla sztuki i kultury. Dlatego na każdym kroku można podziwiać piękne miejskie rzeźby a w każdy piątek na głównym placu kumulują sie setki bębniarzy którzy wystukują wspólny miejski rytm.
Wiec jeśli ktokolwiek z was szuka Zielonego Raju na wschodnim wybrzeżu - polecam Asheville bez mrugnięcia okiem ;)

During Europe lose it self in bureaucratic system, full of pharmaceutical demons, there is a great "back to basic" in the United States. Anyone who has visited Oregon, or will have the chance to do it, will surely open his eyes but also hearts for "Hippies". One of Oregon's most famous cities is Ashland, which was totally expelled by John Depp, who in one interview said that it is his favorite place in the US. As you well know (or not), besides California, Oregon is another state that promotes love for Marijuana. Who has become familiar with the hippie culture, puts Ashland on the pedestal, dreaming that in their county they could also found a city like this... with low crime, clean and friendly, open to otherness. And thats how in North Carolina we can enjoy the existence of Asheville. It is not only definitely larger but also more friendlier place. In my opinion Ashland (Or) is overrated, not only for too high prices for local products but also restrictions imposed in urban areas (what is purpose of having a city park if you can not walk a dog in it?). Asheville is not only more accessible to our pockets but also our needs. City authorities are still ensuring that the comfort of citizens and visitors is at a decent level. In Asheville dominates a great respect for art and culture. That is why at every step you can admire the beautiful urban sculptures and on every Friday in the main square are gathering many drummers who together play a common urban rhythm.
So if any of you are looking for a Green Paradise on the East Coast - I recommend Asheville without a blink of an eye;)
