Meat my friends! I mean........ Beef my friends... Oh lord!
Lets start again before all the Vegans will come and attack me and turn this snake into shoes!
Gosh..... I might have to start again... Hard work this!
Hi, meet my friends!
I have this thing called love for cows. In my eyes they are just amazing! When I see them standing in the grassy fields I always want to stop and have a little chat! Most of the time they will come to you and attack you with their long tongue! Affection.... Cow affection!
I am udderly fascinated by these amazing creatures! They are big, strong and yet so friendly! One day I really want to cuddle with one!
Milking machines were invented in 1894. Before that, it would take one person one hour to milk 6 cows by hand. Today, the use of a milking machine allows one person to milk about 100 cows in one hour.
Did you know that all ‘cows’ are female? Only males are called bulls. Before having a calf, a cow is called a heifer. In order for a cow to produce milk, they must first have a calf.
With all of the eating and drinking that a cow does in one day, they will urinate about 30 gallons and produce about 60 pounds of manure. So in one year, a cow will produce about 20,100 pounds of manure – that’s 10 TONS!
Cows can hear lower and higher frequencies better than humans.
I took these pictures when on a trip in the Meije polder, a great spot in the green heart of the Netherlands!
