This is NuuuNNN how are you doing? Great I hope!
This week I didn't have much time to come here and post you guys what's been up since I've been with a lot of exams so I had to dedicate some time to it!
Next week I'll have some more exams but this weekend I'll try to post the most I can!
So today I'm going to tell you guys what I've been doing around with the tiny spare time I have.
So last week we finally got our first GPU that we can mine and now this week I started playing around with the card and the Rig trying to get the best possible hashrate to power consumption!
With some simple OC tweaking, I got the card to 29.3 MH/s on single ETH mining with 165w. Really happy with that performance since I had no bios mod done!
So the first thing I did the other day was to start Dual mining since I was losing money from the other coin that I could be getting!
So after setting everything up (I choose Sia coin since I really like the idea behind their coin).
I got these results.
Again I got very excited with what I got! 29.3 Mh/s ETH and 700 MH/s for Sia
Later on, a day or two after I decided that I needed to Bios Mod the GPU since it was hitting around 175W on a single card and with that crazy OC, I just thought it wouldn't be healthy for the GPU.
I got my hands on 2 PCI-E Risers, and I was determined to Bios mod and setup correctly the GPU on the RIG! (finally!!!!)
Before the Riser the GPU fitted on the motherboard only holding on by the DVI cable on the window so it didn't fall forward and it was really annoying!
I proceed to bios mod the GPU and then I installed on the riser and up on the RIG!
Final result!
I think it goes so much better in its place :)
In terms of hashrates after bios this is what I got!
After the bios mod and some OC tweaking I got the card pulling 31.2 MH/s and 560 MH/s Sia with 135W.
I was very happy with the diference and with a lot lower OC so it's safer for the card :)
If you guys need any help on Bios moding I can help you out!
After that I decided to finish some little thing's about the RIG that I didnt do right away like a button to start the RIG and PSU holder.
So that's everything for now, I'll post more stuff very soon guys!
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!
