This morning, physical therapy was a success. It has been a long time coming back from my injury & I still have a ways to go. π»
However, I cannot say enough about the dry needling procedure I went through a couple of weeks ago.
πΈ
The therapist told me there's some improvement in right leg & my hip flexor is the slowest in coming back to 100% capacity. More exercise, massage & another dry needling procedure next week. πΉ
It's interesting how physical health is so connected with your mental health. When you physically feel good, your mind has better odds of feeling good. Such a simple concept. For me, this is the case. My anxiety level drops & after this visit, I feel more optimistic. I tip my hat to anyone who endures chronic pain in their daily life but keeps on crushing it.
π»
Everyone's journey is different & my pain certainly isn't chronic (in my opinion anyways). But just a taste of that made me gain even more respect for those who do have it! π―

So, keep kicking life in the butt & do what empowers you while positively impacts people's lives
πΉ
We all have a story to tell. It's a matter of embracing it & choosing a better reality with your thoughts. Shine your light because the world is a better place with you in it. ππ·
