Hello HIVE world, today I leave you a post that picks up in a brief account, little that search for happiness, between so much routine occupation of our time, and the wonderful thing of seeing it as a subtle reflection in the simple things that we often leave aside.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

One day I was returning from work, tired, with a certain amount of heaviness in an endless line of cars that barely moved, for a moment discouragement took over my thoughts. The radio, was broadcasting discouraging news, every minute in the car seemed like an eternity, I couldn't wait to get home.

So when I got to the first intersection, I took an alternate path, a bumpy, bumpy street that ran through a poor neighborhood, one of those around the city hidden behind shopping malls.

On my way I saw men and women who were walking in a hurry to get home, perhaps for fear of insecurity, I also saw old people sitting at the doors with lost looks and a lack of affection.

I also saw young people with bad faces looking at my vehicle passing by, some even making threatening gestures, but that is what I have become accustomed to seeing in those neighborhoods.

However, something surprised me, I know that I had seen it many times, during my childhood, I myself enjoyed it in its time, in that neighborhood where I grew up... but at that moment it made me reflect.

A small group of children running down the street behind an old tire, their faces full of joy and bustle, they were having fun, you could see in their eyes wonderful dreams, some said they were formula 1 drivers, others that they were driving a luxury car, or police or firemen, but in each one the only clear thing was their focus on "the wheel of happiness" that gave them that magical moment of dreaming.

Since then I have tried to search my life, where that old tire was left that taking it down the street, allowed me to dream like a child and focus my life towards happiness.

All the routine burdens that burden us in life, we chose it as a way to seek happiness. Sometimes life shows us in simple details that happiness is a moment, perhaps ephemeral, but intensely valuable, simple.
