## Meeting a bad expert. To give an assessment of something, you need to be at least somewhat of an expert in a specific field, like in this field, cynology, or dog science. Since I'm a fairly narrow expert (lol), I'm more familiar with spaniels and basset hounds, I had a hard time appreciating the beauty of the dog guarding the boathouse on the shore of a small city lake. I certainly didn't expect it, but the dog ran out to greet me, clearly expecting me to be delighted by its appearance.
