Introduction

Hi everyone, itchyfeetdonica@itchyfeetdonica here with my first travel digest for our @Pinmapple! Remember to follow this new account on Hive if you haven't yet, and join our contest Taking Mr Pinmapple on a trip! 🍍😎

Before we start, we want to thank roelandp@roelandp, derekrichardson@derekrichardson and alexanderfluke@alexanderfluke for their generous delegations! And we truly appreciate the support from theycallmedan@theycallmedan for our project and for the top 3 posts!

We noticed some users on Haveyoubeenhere didn't realize that you have to press the Hive Icon, if you want to cross post from Haveyoubeenhere to Hive. A fix to make this more clear and to improve image quality is being pushed live. It is already live on iOS, and we're still waiting for Google to accept the update for Android. You can always go to your post on Haveyoubeenhere, tap the menu and tap "To hive" if you didn't cross post before.

All featured posts are visible on the Editors Choice Map and upvoted by the pinmapple@pinmapple team. For more travel digests check out #traveldigest.

#1 Taking Mr. Pinmapple on a trip: Let's travel together #136 - Cheile Caprei (The Feneșului Gorges/Caprei Gorges) by gabrielatravels@gabrielatravels

Sometimes we all need a short trip to nature just to recharge our batteries, no matter if we visit the surroundings or discover new places, or simply get connected with the wilderness and stress-free our minds. And Cheile Caprei are definitely a good pick no matter what the season is!

#2 Trip To The Eden Project: Cornwall, UK by nuthman@nuthman

Between 1995 and 2000, Tim Smit would plan and prepare the land for a most amazing transformation. The following images are from our journey through the various environments created through his effort. The domes that you see in the images contain distinct environments from around the world.

#3 Taking Mr Pinmapple on a trip - village hopping in Peak District, UK by livinguktaiwan@livinguktaiwan

The Peak District is the first, and probably the most popular National Park in England. Over 20 million visitors come each year, and even with the corona virus now, it didn't stop visitors from coming. In fact this weekend just gone, many still went to the Peak District for walks even though we were told to stay indoors. When I told Mr Pinmapple about this, he was really upset, but also very curious to find out more about this beautiful region. I agreed to take him on a virtual tour from my visit a few years ago. Let's go!
