🥇 Argentina - Walk along the shores of the salty beach: Lake Epecuén in the south of Buenos Aires. / Paseo por las orillas de la playa con sal: Lago Epecuén en el sur de Buenos Aires. 😃❤️ by lauramica@lauramica

"But in reality what we were seeing were not burned trees but dehydrated trees. When we got to the shores of the lake, what we saw was totally new to me: a beach full of salt that destroyed everything around it. The particularity of this lake is that it has a very high salinity level, almost as high as the Dead Sea. "

🥈 Stellenbosch South Africa: The Student’s Town Where the Best Burger is, Where Politics is in Your Face and Where Historical Buildings and Art Flow onto the Street by fermentedphil@fermentedphil

"Vrije Burger is a burger joint run by one of South Africa’s top chefs, Bertus Basson. He has various restaurants, two of which is in Stellenbosch and is seen as “fancy dining”. They are very expensive and might be out of reach for most average South Africans. However, his burger place is still reasonably priced, and you will get, according to me, the best burger. You also get a nice ice cream for free while you wait for your burger."

🥉 Dubrovnik, Croatia by lapetra@lapetra

"We've been to Dubrovnik in June this year so we found a cheap hostel which was around 18 euros per night for two people. This was a very good price since Dubrovnik is an expensive tourist city.We stayed there for three nights and explored the old town by day and night. But, the first day we went to the beach called Saint Jacob's beach and we walked from there to the old town. The walk takes around half an hour and the views are spectacular!"
