I can easily say that Dubrovnik is the most beautiful city we have been to. The walls are simply magnificent and just walking through the old town gives you a special feeling.
The walls were built around Dubrovnik to defend it from various attacks and the interesting part is they were never really breached and are among the best-preserved fortifications in the world.
Dubrovnik was also the main filming location for King's Landing from Game of Thrones, apparently for a very good reason!
We've been to Dubrovnik in June this year so we found a cheap hostel which was around 18 euros per night for two people. This was a very good price since Dubrovnik is an expensive tourist city.
We stayed there for three nights and explored the old town by day and night. But, the first day we went to the beach called Saint Jacob's beach and we walked from there to the old town. The walk takes around half an hour and the views are spectacular!

As we were getting closer, we saw this cave called Betina cave which you can reach only from the sea.
