"The sculpture was found in 5th century in the nearby paddy field and then shifted to the durbar square later by King Pratap Malla who rules the Nepal during Malla dynasty. The god himself looks very fierce and looks like a demon slayer from the past according to Hindu mythology holding six arms with sword and and a shield and under his feet is a defeated monster or demon."
