"...We said we are planning to circle an island and he thought we were crazy. He then explained that it's not possible to make that trip because of the bad weather in the north. Later we checked on the internet and most of the roads have been closed because of high wind and snowstorm. I guess we were lucky to stumble upon the old man."

"As I walked and ran I saw Lifeguard towers every kilometre and to my surprise they were already manned with lifeguards on watch. They must get some early morning swimmers on warm days. The sunrise was perfect and highlighted the thousands of white clam shells washed up on the beach. It made for crunchy walking and I made sure my shoes stayed on this time."

🥉 Pamukkale, Turkey - City to City Tour 035 by @fronttowardenemy

"The rock formation looks a lot like cotton, but it definitely does not feel like cotton! It wasn't too bad though. The stone is mostly smooth, but it was still a long way to walk with bare feet. The view from on top of the formation was incredible. We were lucky that the weather was clear and we could see for miles."
