New Zealand’s One and Only Castle 🏰
Located in Dunedin, South Island of New Zealand.
This was actually my first time seeing a real castle in person.
It’s quite small compared to other castles that we see in movies or internet, yet it still feels amazing to see it up close.
It has a beautiful architecture and a very colorful garden that is open to all tourists. During our visit, there are few tourist that’s is why we really made use of our time.
We started to roam around the garden. It has lot of different flowers and beautiful landscapes. Since it’s spring season, flowers were in full bloom!
You can pose for a picture in any angle or space within the garden. It’s definitely picture perfect.
When you walk inside the castle, there are still the furnitures and items of Barker Family, the family who used to own the house way back 1960’s. They are still in place and still intact as if you are living during their era.
Here are some of the interior of the castle.
I wish I could have taken a lot more selfies and photos in this castle. It’s once in a lifetime experience to see and enter a castle.
I hope to see other castles from other countries in the near future 👑
My real name is Fiona, and that moment I really felt like I’m Princess Fiona 💕
