馃 Igloo snow sculpture, Davos, Switzerland by ammonite@ammonite

I flew straight from my project in La Pineda, Catalonia to Zurich and found my way with several trains to Davos. It was hell, trying to carry three pieces of luggage with my Sciatica. I just took my time resting 30 seconds for every 30 seconds I limped. This was my first time to Davos and I was quite curious, seeing as it was soon to have that meeting with all the rich and powerful twats. I was surprised at how beautiful and picturesque it was in the snow and how fresh the air was after Catalonia. I can see why the elite would choose it as a location, easily secured and far away from the stinking proletariat.

馃 The foothill of the Ketmanchapty and the Kyzyl canyon, Boysun, Uzbekistan by damm-steemit@damm-steemit

Hello! The past week was full of surprises. Both pleasant and not very pleasant. As I mentioned in my previous post the winter came to our mountains. A couple of days later, winter came to Tashkent too. And as always in Uzbekistan it happened very unexpectedly. Unexpectedly for utilities and city services, of course. And this is despite the fact that our Hydrometeorological Research Center warned about precipitation and cold about a week before. Despite the fact that back in the summer our President said that this year's winter in Uzbekistan will be colder than usual and it is necessary to prepare in advance. They even seem to have identified specific measures and responsible persons. And nevertheless, winter fell on communal services like snow on their head - literally and figuratively.

馃 Long Hua Temple, Davao City, Philippines by itinerantph@itinerantph

Hello itinerants all over the world and hive community! This year has been a hell of a ride for all of us due to this COVID-19 virus pandemic. My intent of writing this travel blog is to put positivity and hope in this little corner of the internet so people have something to look forward when everything goes back to normal. As you may not know, I am currently living now in our hometown in Mindanao Island. For today's episode, I will bring you to one of the most popular temples here in Southern Philippines.
