The necessary removal of wisdom teeth
for me
is a lie
Mine fit just perfectly in my mouth
Right next to my mandibular second molars
and that invisible pocket
of things I have learned not to say
You may have very little of my truth
Sometimes you will just have to let
the confabulation happen to you
like little raindrops
on honest shoulders
Other times you will find yourself
sliding along the slick enamel of my teeth
awaiting the inevitable mastication
