Food uniquely comforts my soul, especially during gloomy weather and when felt so stressed and pressured by some things about life.

My life lately is filled with spices, but I still keep going. But the food had been my comfort.

And now, come with me as I share my fun experience of embracing the wild heart of nature and indulging in mouthwatering pizzas.

Yesterday, I felt the need to unwind, and I had so much pleasure of traveling to Dahilayan Pizza Shack amidst the heavy clouds, for it was about to rain.

I felt happy as I embraced the wild heart of nature by exploring its natural beauty. When I arrived at the pizza place, the atmosphere was so gloomy and foggy.

It is my favorite pizza place in my hometown. What makes this place truly special is its use of an extraordinary Pugon that is a traditional furnace adding a delightful and tasty touch to their pizzas.

Still, I decided to make the most of my time by capturing the breathtaking views surrounding me with my camera. And so, I ventured outside to witness a picturesque landscape.

I must say that the foggy atmosphere added charm to the scene, and I could not resist taking numerous selfies to enjoy the moment.

I walked around in the beautiful dining area outside. The place had a large tent out. The management elegantly set up the tent, with many tables for dining in.

Perhaps it provided a cozy and inviting ambiance that perfectly beautified the natural beauty and cooling atmosphere.

Although it was so cold, I still preferred to stay outside because I wanted to capture the moment. Here are the pictures with the big tent, as I also captured candid photos.

After a while, I quickly entered and noticed a lot of purple butterfly plants everywhere. I thought of the leaves as garnishing on top of the pizzas. I so love these flowers for tea. I have tried them by soaking them in hot water.

The air was so cold and was filled with the fragrance of beautiful garden flowers and herbs, which the pizza shack incorporated into their delectable recipes.

The purple butterfly details added a layer of freshness and flavor to the overall dining experience, along with all the fresh herbs from the garden for pizza toppings.

Even if the rain kept falling, I still captured the moment in the tent before I entered and took many selfies.

I so love the greenery and had even captured more photos right near the big tent with some stolen and candid images.

Meanwhile, the rain poured heavily, and I was eager to satisfy my taste buds.

I entered the pizza shack as the rain intensified, and I could not bear the so much coldness from the outside environment.

When I entered, the friendly staff smiled at me with a warm welcome through a very inviting atmosphere and the customers' happy faces.

I did not waste a second but quickly ordered a hot chocolate drink because it was so cold, and I did not have a jacket or sweater.

I then ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and a mouthwatering calzone.

While the pizza and calzone were prepared timely by the chef, I could savor the tasty flavors as the aroma of freshly baked dough and my favorite melted cheese mixed through the air with a fragrant smell when I eagerly awaited my order to be served by the staff, that even made me hungry.

As each second passed, my anticipation and cravings increased, and the aromatic smells ignited my appetite even more. Finally, the pizzas and calzone were served by the fantastic staff, and I was thrilled.

I savored the pizzas with so much gladness in my heart as, after how many months, I was able to come back to my favorite pizza place.

With the first bite, it made me so much happy and excited as the thick, tended, fluffy, and crispy crust of the pepperoni pizza provided the perfect base for the flavorful toppings.

The Calzone's dough was also soft and fluffy, for it was delightfully made of a heavenly combination of ingredients by the chef.

And there was a balance of taste through the tangy tomato sauce, meaty supreme, and savory cheese. And the distinct smokiness from the Pogon oven made an addicting taste of flavors that added so much appetite to my plate.

Amid the gloomy weather, my visit to Pizza Shock in Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, was an extraordinary foodie adventure. I must say that the enchanting natural surroundings, the cozy dining area, and the delicious pizzas made for an unforgettable experience.

The pizza shack had the perfect blend of taste and ambiance, even on the gloomiest days. Perhaps I always feel that foods taste so good in cold weather. One thing is for sure when the weather is cold, and I am also hungry.
