The water stopped rushing from the pipe in the middle of the night and I wondered why water could stop rushing. Next thing I heard my neighbor screaming on the top of her voice. She was saying some things that I could not hear clearly.
I was pressed and wanted to use the restroom but there was no water. I decided to use it like that. When I finished, I pressed and flushed with the last water that was in there.
I went back to sleep. When I woke up, I muttered some prayers and rushed to check if water was flowing. I switched on the bathroom tap and water was not coming out. I switched on the bulb and realized there was power supply. I thought if the water had finished from the tank. I went outside to find out what was going on and if I could switch on the water pump. My neighbor immediately rushed out of her door and told me that she was tired about the compound. I asked her what happened and she told me that her husband pumped the water to full tank last night and yet the water finished in the middle of the night.
She suspected that someone must had left their tap running. I said I do not know. We went together to switch on the water pump. But electricity did not carry the pump. I went back to my apartment and took some water I had reserved and bathe. My mum had her bath too with her reserve water. Then my mum told me that I should remember I promised to join her to the farm so that we could do some weeding.
She begged me that we could should go early this morning. I told her I wanted to sleep a little. She said she loves going to places on time and she would not want to go to the farm when the sun is already out. I lazily stood up from my bed got some clothes and joined her.
Heavy rain fall
Immediately we stepped out of the house. The weather changed automatically and it started to become very windy. I was trying to call a bike man but the bike man did not hear me. My mum said we should go back to the house so the rain will not catch up with us but I somehow refused. We started hearing the sound of heavy rain approaching us. The rain was faster and it almost beat us terribly. I started running and my mum was amazed that I could run with such speed. The rain touched my mum a bit. But we were almost beaten by the rain. The rain came down very heavily and disrupted our movement because we did not have an umbrella and even if we had umbrella, the wind would have squeezed it because that kind of rain was not something to go under with an umbrella.
We waited for the rain to decrease before we left the house.
