While repairs were in motion for the yacht, we have been getting some time to explore the local area of Terengganu.

It is not the greatest place to go on holiday and there are far better places to visit in the world. However, should you ever find yourself there on a pit stop on a boat delivery, then go find some good food!

The town had some interesting ‘street art’ and a beautiful mosque. China Town is probably the best place to go although we did not spend much time there at all.

We walked around town trying to find the traditional Indian breakfast of Roti Chennai or Dosai, but we were too late as they only serve it up until about 10o’clock. After much searching we settled for this amazing feast of rice, 3 different chicken curries, vegetables, lime chutney, poppadoms and deep fried salted chillies. The added touch of eating with your hands off a banana leaf made the whole experience more authentic!
