Since the birth of Literature, all the world's greatest writers have come in the form of Shakespeare, Dickens, and Keats. But this form of patriarchy is somewhat laughable, as our modern times have proved J.K. Rowling to be one the most successful writers of all time!
So, why are female authors ignored?
Even though women are generally better writers then men, women lack the business knowledge to publish and promote their literary work. And even if their work becomes published, businessmen tend to control the amount of publicity an author receives.

When we look at the differences between women and men in terms of readership, women read 60% of all books in the world, whereas men read only 40%.
As women read more than men, this gives women a linguistic advantage in grammar and vocabulary. As any writer would tell you, reading often improves your writing skills!
Women naturally have a biological gift with language, as most roles that involve communication are given to women. Roles such as therapists, receptionists, and translators are all professions dominated by women!
