So far so good Steemit has been very exciting and challenging. Out here, every now an then Steemians flood post on how Steemit has been extremely beneficial, lucrative, rewarding, educating, informative, enlightening and stuff have constantly been gushed out from people who have in one way or the other made some cool cash or probably just being optimistic that the future here isn't bleak or just being hypocritical because of other peoples testimonies. Some still hype Steemit for self-motivation sake and other still pretend Steemit is cool in clandestine way of seeking for upvotes and the like.
It is very true that with all this discrepancies, a good number of people like they testify here have benefited from Steemit and feel inspired to share their experiences so others could get inspired too. And of course this to a great extent add fuel to peoples desire here. Many still make claims that Steemit is far more preferable and interesting compared to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others - this reasonings are of course valid to the owners because everyone is entitled to the opinion.
But in the midst of all this encomium on Steemit, I'm yet to see a post balancing the advantages of Steemit, or does it mean that Steemit is a one sided platform where we rip from where we don't sow? my thoughts are, are there people encountering rough rides on Steemit? when something is ALL good you will agree with me that we have to take a good inventory of it.
Have you ever spent a whole day doing research, interviewing people, writing, digging your head up(something you ordinarily wouldn't do) all because you wish to do something creative and original so you could share them on Steemit? does Steemit make you feel like God lied for making us believe there are 24 hours in a day, because Steemit actually makes you feel 12 hours make a day; have you ever had sleepless night because of Steemit? do you ever feel like you are going to breakthrough with Steemit?
With all this doubts and questions why do we really do steemit? is it for money? or to own a blog? or to share ideas. How do you feel after a had research and writing gives you $0.01? how do you feel when you get 20 upvotes amounting to $0.02? whats your take after a long post earns just 2 views? do you feel bad when a well written post doesn't get enough attention?
why can one be notified when they are beeing tagged? when you resteem someones post do the get a notification that their post has been resteemed? in as much as this is not a chatting platform, people would love to have a private discuss with others.
These are just my thoughts on these lovely family. They are not meant to disregard any body, group of persons, posts but they are my worries on how to make the next profitable step in Steemit.
Thanks for reading!
