Four days without smoking, I need a pat on my back.

HOW AM I DOING IT?

Your mind is a serious thing. I've been keeping myself busy with no idle time to even think about smoking. Just by being active on steemit helps. I don't have the urge to smoke, yet! Holy cow, am actually doing it. Staying busy, keeping a positive attituded and not allowing current life circumstances to led me astray.

Speak with confidence

Knowing within myself I can kick the habit of smoking helps. I keep telling myself, you got this! Even lying, telling myself saying "it's easy". Is that a good thing? I don't know, it feels easy or does it feel this way because I am constantly telling myself this?

6 hours later

I started writing this post during my lunch break but off course, duty calls and I was unable to finish. I am now home and I am BEAT aka tired. The last few hours of work was stressful and on top of that blah blah....nevermind. 20170324_194619-1.jpg

After a typical day like today, I would be high right now. High, trying to get some work done, scrolling the web, doing researching, watching a youtube video listening to other people talk about how they got their success and in between facebook and other social media sites. After about an two hours of that I would be to the point where I just wanted to eat, watch TV and relax.

Not today! A little voice in my head was telling me, you need a drink but I am not trying to go down that road.

Do not replace one bad habit with another

My eyes are on the prize and like I said in my introduction post I am quitting my job come January 2018. I don't have the time to waste watching useless TV or relaxing for that matter. Time for ACTION!

I am on a journey to financial freedom and I am serious about achieving this goal. To accomplish these things I must make these neccessary changes, there is no way around it. It's only going to happen through hardwork and dedication, you have to commit.
