Okay, guys... I will be brutally honest with you... The price of STEEM bothers me... It bothers me a lot... I would like to see STEEM valued at $10 or $20, and not at 13-14 cents as it is at the moment. But, I have one really bad news for you guys (and myself)... It won't happen today... It won't happen tomorrow and it won't happen this month... And probably not even in the next month... So, talking about my "feelings" about the price won't help anything, actually, it will make it even worse...
Firstly, I can BUILD valuable content on STEEM... Wait, wait... I HAVE TO build valuable content on the platform if I want to succeed... If I want that STEEM succeed... If I want to push price UP again...
Secondly, I HAVE to ENGAGE with my readers, my followers... I have to respond to every comment that they leave, on every concern that they have... Doing that, I'm making my connection with the community stronger... Building new links between readers, new bridges... There is no better thing than a good comment discussion between readers and authors...
As a matter of fact, the idea for this post was born from a great discussion that I had with @mindtrap on his awesome post that you can find here... We have so much to learn from each other...
Community is the main advantage of STEEM... Community is the main difference between US and THEM (other cryptocurrencies)... They do not have a community that works as ONE to push forward their blockchain... WE HAVE THAT!
Thirdly, I HAVE TO use my STEEM and my STEEM POWER (or token power). How? I have to upvote all the good stuff that I like on the platform, to reward all those authors who put their effort and knowledge to create awesome content for us!
We are lucky that we have a lot of use cases for STEEM, that a lot of other coins out there don't have. They maybe have fake trading volumes that are keeping them on the "first-page", but they don't have an actual use case. So, go out and USE dApps based on STEEM... If you like games, play the best blockchain game Splinterlands, or DrugWars, or NextColony... If you like Instagram, try out Appics... If you are into mobile social networks, try out eSteem...
You can check a large number of dApps written for STEEM at https://dapp.review/explore/steem
I can continue with the list, but let's do some small steps for the start...
One more thing... While you are enjoying your time on STEEM doing these things, go out to the "traditional" social networks and spread the word about it! Show these amazing things that we have on STEEM to your friends, family, colleagues on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram... Why would you keep these gems only for you? Share it with others...
And don't forget.... Sharing is caring
