After looking at my blog here on STEEM, I have noticed that I'm writing a lot about the importance of creating content on the platform and engaging with other Steemians. But, the majority of the people are focusing their attention on the current price of the STEEM and current bearish movements on the market...

I was also pointing out the fact that there is no sense holding your head all day and looking to the charts non-stop... That is just a waste of time... The price will not magically go up if you are watching the chart all day... :)

So, let us be more practical... What can we do in these moments? How can we distract ourselves from the bad news? Well, the perfect solution is to read... There is so much amazing content on the platform and so many great authors who need more attention and deserve more upvotes and comments... Take a look and share your love with them... It will be beneficial for both sides...

Another good way to get out of the bad mood is to create something... I know that I'm repeating the same thing over and over again, but I want you to go through a tough time along with me, and all other Steemians... On the road to success...

I would like to try a different approach this time...

If you are here for the long haul, read the next few lines carefully...

You are not satisfied with the current price of STEEM and you will not sell it because of that... You want to get bigger price and you have time to wait... Okay...

Unfortunately, as I have already said, most of the people are stunned by this low STEEM price and they are completely blocked... They have left the platform or just got inactive... Because of that, the consequence is that there is much less content on the platform... Which provokes that active Steemians have fewer possibilities to upvote blogposts and that means:

  1. Less post means that your post has more chance to be upvoted as it is more visible
  2. Bigger accounts usually don't vote with 100% upvotes, but if there is fewer posts, they will use higher % upvotes
  3. When bigger account upvotes (I'm not so big, but I pay attention on this also), they look how much will worth their upvote in USD... Usually, they stick to some round number, and if the price of STEEM goes down, they use bigger % to reach desired upvote value in USD

So, in conclusion, if we look at the STEEM rewards (not USD) of your blogposts they are BIGGER than they were earlier! Actually, you receive MORE crypto because of the bear market, fewer posts on the platform, and all the other factors mentioned above...

You said that you are here for a long haul... You are getting more crypto than ever, so what is the problem?
