Here, there's us together without the fear of being hurt by someone who took personal offense to our existence.
Here is where you aren't sad constantly because I hate myself, because I couldn't possibly love myself as much as you do.
Here you're happy, and I'm happy because you're happy, and everything falls into place because I love you, and you love me.
Here we can get married without any mishaps.
Here are all the things I would give up, my humanity to be with you.
We could be happy still, it just might not be oh so very easy.
I think you deserve someone better,
someone that's easier to be with,
someone that isn't me.
I don't want you to experience just how cruel and ruthless the world is first hand to those they think shouldn't exist.
