Nymphaea lotus, also called water lily, closes its buds at night and opens its petals in the daytime. That's why it's called 'sleeping lotus'. A friend of mine staying at the temple confirmed their ecology of time flows.
Comparing the left (morning) and right (evening), the water lily seems to enjoy frog swimming, the most slow actions in the world.
So cute and slowly dynamic!
It is said that Monet often painted water lilies.
