心虛則性現 不息心而求見性 如撥波覓月 意淨則心淸 不了意而求明心 如索鏡增塵 (前 171)
When your consciousness is to be in emptiness, nature of mind comes out. Trying to find it without taking a break of your thinking is like fiddling with the waves to catch the moonlight. When the arising and disappearing of mind process finally go away, its awareness becomes clear. Just trying to remove it without seeing through it is like looking for the mirror only to add up dust and stain. (Book1 171)
Emptiness in mind is not without mind. It never disappears. Finally is there left only clear light of mind. Primordial mind is only to know and illuminate.
