幽人淸事 纔在自適 故酒以不勸爲歡 棋以不爭爲勝 笛以無腔爲適 琴以無絃爲高 會以不期約爲眞率 客以不迎送爲坦夷 若一牽文泥跡 便落塵世苦海矣 (後 96)
The work of a person away from the world is clear and simple. Because of no disturbance and intention, he enjoys drink by not demanding others and does not play Go to win. He likes flutes without holes and regards a lyre without strings as high. Meetings unscheduled is regarded as truth, and visitor with no special greeting and farewell is thought as comfortable.
Everything immediately falls into a sea of heartbreak at the world full of dust, if being drawn to pretentiousness and bound by formalities. (Book2 96)
Overcoming the sea of heartbreak is neither escape nor neglect. It's to cultivate tranquility in mind as always and anywhere. 習得 means 'learned, practiced and mastered'.
