Hello steemians, first of all I want to thank you for the patience you had with me till now, indeed am grateful!!
Okay to the issue of the day.......
The 3Day crypto Class was initially a 4day planned event but due to some uncertainties it had to be curtailed to 3days but thank God, all the necessary parts were touched.
The day started with introduction to cryptocurrency, blockchain and airdrops. With speakers like @ifioklee,
@enolife and
@samstickkz who were there to make sure we weren't found lagging.
meet
@enolife.... The airdrop facilitator
Another thing that was thought on this day were the snapshot airdrops and the applicable airdrops
Snapshot airdrops : These are airdrops that are most time given when a customer already has a token of the coin on his wallet. E.g is if you had EOS on your wallet before April 10 and applied for the EosDac airdrop, it would be given to you because you had an EOS already on your wallet. But if you never had EOS then I'm sorry this airdrop wasn't for you.
Applicable airdrops : these are airdrops you get when you have successfully carried out every step required from the owners of the token. Most of the time, you input your twitter, facebook and telegram usernames plus your erc20 wallet address after you might have completed every task on each site then they will issue out the coin for you.
Day two got a bit more hectic going into the trading sites, knowing one or two steps to trading, how to buy and sell a coin from merchant sites and also how to predict a valuable coin.
Stuffs like buy order, market price, stop limit, decentralized and centralized exchange were issues deliberated upon amongst others.

Other things like resistance and support were also pondered upon and this set the pace for day 3
Day 3 started on a lighter note. We were very much eager to learn. Pondering on stuffs the first day and the second, some made sense.... Others didn't, so today was the day we get it straight!!
@Enolife took the podium first to talk abit about airdrops(for those who missed out on some points) and also answered questions thrown at him accurately. As there were much to talk about, @samstickkz mounted the podium immediately!!
"Buying a rumor" were one of the first things Sam started off with. Now how do you buy a rumor??.
There are coins that have come to stay. Coins like bitcoin, etherium, steem, neo etc are coins of high regards. Now this coins have their resistance(s) and you likely know that by checking their charts and calculating the mean over a period. Definitely what goes up must surely come down.... Or maybe a bit. Now people panic and start selling off as the coin is depreciating. As a good crypto trader for a stable coin.... This is when to buy!!, at a low price and HODL. This is what happened to steem not too long ago it was $1.28 or so but look at where we are now??
You are likely to loose cash or trade stupidly when you buy at the top. Any good trader(crypto or not) finds a good time, their good is less costly, get it and sell at a high price and crypto is not left out!!
Not easy mastering this
The price of a coin appreciates when the Market capitalization increases over the circulating supply in the same ratio.... That is when the price of a coin will increase. Just like the same way demand is higher than supply(for those with knowledge about economics and wants).
Over the years people have called crypto "a scam", others have labelled it whatever it suits them while the rest have lost a lot. Now for any business you do it is required you make gain to stay in the business. So how do you make gain on what's fluctuating??
Set up a trading account. Accounts like bitshares, binance, bitrex are good trading places you can set your buy order and stop loss.
Set a sell order : For some, crypto is at part time job while dealing with other jobs and of course... the family. It's very tasking to keep tabs on everything, your work, school, church, family, friends, check new coins, fill airdrops and still check on your coins progress. So you easily set a sell order so anytime the coin depriciates more than you can fathom... it automatically sells it to Tether
Screenshot of my imtoken wallet. Please don't forget the first rule: lock your wallets and trust no-one.
Tether(USDT) is a coin that always stays on the line(no ups or downs) and will never likely drop. So when your coins starts depreciating, your sell order sells it to tether so you can use it to buy Kore of that coin(if still interested) when it looses value and can sell it off at any desired appreciable rate!!! Kul right??
Other things like Forking a coin were explained, which is a process of removing a mole from an original coin and make it such that it can solve a particular problem outside what the main coin can do
Examples of forking from BITCOIN are *Bitcoincash, BitAir, BitcoinZ etc. All these were all forked from bitcoin and each serve their specific values respectively!!
The value of crypto currency and blockchain cannot be overemphasized. This has served many people across the world unemployment, stress amongst others. Winning over where most governments are failing and empowering people with dedication instead of connection is one thing that makes the blockchain standout on its own.
Other solutions like cashless policy, helping out during elections, reestablishing bonds amongst nations and also teaching the child to be more knowledgeable and independent are one of the many signs blockchain has provided.
To stay in the chain, one needs to be wise and swift else you will be running at a loss. Just like everything deserves time, take out time to study crypto trading and blockchain development, it would help you in making decisions and staying safe in the chain.
In the end I'm only focused on my assets, monitoring my coins and learning to better myself daily on the chain.
Now before I forget, the number one rule of crypto is.... KEEP YOUR PASSWORD SAFE AND OUT OF REACH WHILE TRUSTING NO ONE!!
There are lots of other things I'd love to say but no!!, "to whom much is given, much is expected". Crypto offers so much for one to go in as a notice. Take time out and solve some problems yourself, then and only them you would see the beauty of the blockchain.
Take care.....
