Depression is a very serious thing that affects the young people growing up. The bible teaches us that God always wants us to bring our burden to him. Parents, friends, and spiritual leaders should show love, patience, and understanding to depressed teens instead of judging them. God cares deeply for those who are hurting and invites them to come to Him for comfort and peace.
The bible also teaches us that even the men of God in the bible pass through some kind temptation and depression. Through prayer, encouragement, and fellowship, teens can find strength to keep moving forward. Christians are encouraged to support struggling teenagers with kind words, guidance, and hope rooted in God’s promises. Faith in God does not remove every problem instantly, but it gives strength to endure difficult seasons.
The Bible also teaches that hope can be restored through trusting in God daily. Teens facing depression should be reminded that their lives have purpose and value in God’s eyes. Reading the Word of God, praying regularly, and surrounding themselves with caring people can help bring healing and encouragement.
Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
