Holy week is the week that Christians take so serious, this is the week that talks about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it also talks about his teachings and triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The Bible records these events in detail, making them important parts of the Christian faith. The term Holy Week itself is not found in Scripture, nor is there a command for Christians to observe a special annual week for these events.
Believers are encouraged to remember Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection continually, not only during a particular season. While observing Holy Week can help Christians reflect on Jesus’ work and deepen their faith, its observance is a matter of personal conviction rather than a biblical requirement. What is most important is faith in Christ and obedience to His teachings throughout the year.
