Holy week is the final week of Jesus Christ on earth, the holy week talks about His resurrection, crucifixion, and the triumphant entry into Jerusalem. While the Bible records these events in detail, it does not specifically command Christians to observe a yearly celebration called Holy Week. Therefore, the events are biblical, but the annual observance itself is a tradition developed by the Christian church.
The bible teaches us to always remember the suffering of Jesus Christ and how he have come to die for our sins. Jesus instructed His followers to remember Him through the Lord’s Supper.
Luke 22:19: “Do this in remembrance of me.”
Christians may observe Holy Week as a meaningful time of reflection, provided it helps them grow in faith and remains centered on the biblical message of Christ’s death and resurrection.
