Holy week is the best time which Christian remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Events such as Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, His suffering, death, and resurrection are clearly recorded in the Bible. Because these events are biblical, many believers see Holy Week as a meaningful time for reflection, repentance, prayer, and gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice.
The word holy week is not stated in the bible, but what Christians celebrate every year about holy week is something that happened in the bible. Scripture does not instruct Christians to celebrate Palm Sunday, Good Friday, or Holy Saturday in a formal religious calendar.
