It’s been a while since I’ve taken a bike ride. Having a car makes transport more convenient and comfortable, especially in the colder and rainier months of the year.

I’m refilling a tank of my diesel car for a little over 50€, and although the vehicle is not really small, it only consumers about 5 l/100 km. I’m glad I don’t have an American car like I used to, with the cost of gas rising again.

This is a chart of crude oil prices per barrel back to 1946. The price of oil shown is adjusted for inflation and it’s currently at its highest since 2014.

I guess we still have some room before it’s really bad.

I read somewhere that price increase has been spurred by rising European gas prices, which are the driver to switch to oil for power generation, and by a decision by the OPEC and allies led by Russia to stick to plans & add only 400,000 barrels per day of supply in November.

I hope the crypto markets keep moving upwards too. Many are predicting another bull run before the end of this year.

What do you think are the odds for that to happen?
