Hello everyone, even if I had access to a computer, I also had access to a pencil :-) I kind of wanted to make a sketch using my favorite tool of them all : The pencil,it brings back the natural art of drawing. I love using a computer, the results can be awesome, it may take a little bit longer to do, but it does not have that perfect natural feeling of a good old sheet and a pen or pencil. Something that you can just move around with ease, put on your knee, lie on the couh, whatsoever, it just does not matter as much when I am using those.
I did not bother with proportions, I just went with the flow; doing something that has a little cartoonish side to it : it is more my style. Do not get me wrong, I really wish I could draw portraits as beautiful as the ones you see sometimes on Hive (some you can barely tell the difference if it's a picture or not), but it's so much more fun to just do things that are not really proportionate or realistic, It gives a charm.
I am reallt happy that it is Friday, I'm only working half a day tomorrow so yay! I'm sure we'll pass pretty fast and I will have the rest of the day to myself... Well not completely to myself but not working and that's the important part. Ok it would be cool if I could paid for doing what I want, but that's just dreaming (but it I really wish it, maybe it could happen :-))
As for a sketch, it was all done with an HB pencil. for the smudge, I use my finger :-) I did not have access to any blender or whatsoever. I did find a blue ink pen, I thought it would give it a good contrast, therefore I used it. I added some more ink in the background to give that negative effect.
