Greetings, everyone!

When I saw this topic, I burst into laughter 馃槀. If sick people are enjoying off days for them to regain their health from whatever sickness, then they should give off days for others to have their mental health restored. You must rest so your brain can articulate properly. I can tell you from experience that stress can kill or make you unconscious.

We need to take some rest, refresh our minds, souls, and bodies with good sleep, eating fruit, exercising, and more.

Let me share my experience of mental health that I went through. This happened when I was a Corps member going to my PPA which was far from the NCCF family house. I was also one of the executives in NCCF, so returning from work to come and join activities in the family house was a whole lot of fun. Stress upon stress. I had to endure.

One day, it was so much that it became real. Just in one of our midnight prayers, I didn't know myself again. I wanted to step out of the door to sit for some minutes. I reached the doorpost, and I didn't know that I was there. I became unconscious. People started rushing to me and held me to sit down. I sat down with my face, facing the floor. I later regained myself. That day, I didn't go to work, no activities for some days. I rested and I took enough fruit and milk.

Mental rest is very important too. It will help us to be more productive and active in our daily work or activities. I still remember going to the office, and I would see myself sleeping for hours. Before I slept, my colleagues saw from my countenance, and they told me, Peace, you need some rest and they said I should put my head on the locker and sleep.

The World Health Organization (WHO) should look into this situation, and the Federal and State Governments should implement it to different ministries, and if possible, health talks by medical professionals should be held to help our people on how to take care of themselves to avoid health breakdown.

Recently, my colleague told me that one of the Airmen has passed on because of continuous morning exercise, while they were running, he slumped, they rushed him to the hospital, and before they knew, he had passed on.

In the same way that off days are granted to sick people, they should be granted to others to have rest, so they can function well.
