Harry sat on his bed looking at the ceiling, it was not the artwork of the spider's web that ran the four corners of the white board that caught his attention, no, he was even oblivious of the webs running criss cross all over, he was lost in thought about the events of the night before.
He had fought John at the party because of Martina, although it had not been his fault, after all, John had hit him first but he still felt ashamed at himself for throwing punches in public because of a lady, a lady who had not entirely be faithful to him.
He sighed and turned over to face the wall.
"So Martina had been flirting behind his back all these years and here he was thinking she was just the perfect type, without blemish and pure". He could not help letting of a low bitter laugh.
"Well, it was all over now", he thought. " I just have to let her go. I cannot stand fighting in public just because of a lady and with friends, no, it is not proper". He mused.
He turned this time to face the door. The morning sun was shining through the curtain of the window like lines of sharp knife.
"I need to apologise to John for the fight. Even though he started it but he got the worst beating. I will check on him and tell him how sorry I am". He thought.
With that resolve, he stood up from the bed, drew on his clothes and stepped out unto the busy street.
