Contest week 110th edition: My accomplishment this year 2022
It's my pleasure to participate in this week's contest. At the dawn of each day, we all make plans on how our lives will look like and we take actions in accordance with our plans to actualize them.
Accomplishments aren't by our efforts, there's this one personality who's behind the success of each of our plans. Although I didn't lay out plans on how I wanted my 2022 to look like, I was pessimistic that everything was gonna be okay. Below are some of my accomplishments so far in the year 2022.
Undergone a one year intensive computer training: I never made plans of enrolling in a computer school, infact I dreaded computer education because it's kinda complex. But mom encouraged me to go into it and boom I got admitted. I've learnt the 6 basic courses which are:
1. Introduction to computer
2. Microsoft word
3. Microsoft PowerPoint
4. Microsoft Excel
5. Corel draw/graphics design
6. Introduction to Internet
I'm glad I didn't miss out on the opportunity, we'll be graduating soon and you'll are invited in advance.Curtailed bad company: Friends are a great component of man's life but one's choices of companions may ruin one's life forever. Being an extrovert, I make a whole lot of friends but the Bible advises that "one who walks with the wise will become wise but the one having dealings with the stupid will fair badly", hence I had to make a decision.
Yes I had to say no to such friendships so my life will be disaster free. It was difficult at first but I have been able to put a stop to some negative influences in the name of peers. I'm happy I've accomplished that.I've stumbled on a Pearl: Before now, I got some information from real friends about a Pearl of high value. But I was officially a merchant of such Pearl earlier this month (1st Nov 2022), you'll might be wondering what this amazing Pearl is, it's actually no other place than a web3 decentralized block chain known as HIVE. Yes I moved to a greater height and here I am doing well on it.....what an accomplishment.
Developed a closer relationship with my creator: 2 years ago, due to the global pandemic (covid19) which ravaged the globe, all spiritual activities were put on hold. I couldn't worship God the way I used to and it was very hazardous to my spiritual health.
Earlier this year, April to be precise, our activities commenced and I felt relieved putting in my best in Jehovah's service. I've realized that my relationship with my heavenly father has improved compared to two years back. I think is my treat accomplishment.
The Swift do not always win the race nor do the mighty win the battle, nor do the wise have the food nor do the intelligent always have the riches because unexpected events overtake us all. If we've made plans and it isn't working out to our satisfaction we should never stop trying, never give up.....when there's life, there's hope.
