There is a saying that, true friendship is not measured during good times, but during life's most difficult moments. God has blessed me with wonderful friends who were always there for me in my hardest moment. And I will forever be grateful to this wonderful friends of mine.
In life, there are joyful and painful moments, and I have experienced and tested both. But through it all, i have these two amazing friends Pearl and Patience whom I proudly call my sisters from another mother. Their unwavering support has been one of the greatest gifts that God has given me.
Among the many challenges I have faced, which they always stuck with me, I want to talk about the hardest among them all, it was losing a six-month pregnancy. It was especially painful because I had always wished and prayed for a baby girl, I had three boys. But I lost the pregnancy and it was so deverstating and heartbreaking and that awful experience, left me feeling shattered.
My Pearl
I remember waking up one morning and noticing some unusual signs. I became Confused and worried, I immediately called one of my friends, who is a nurse (Pearl). After she had listen to me as I explained how I was feeling at the moment, she advised me to go to the hospital right away. I followed her advice, and before I knew it, she had rushed down to be with me. To my greatest surprise, my other friend, who lives quite far away, also arrived I was so shocked to see her.
My Patience
As we waited and hoped for the best, they held my hands and prayed with me. Unfortunately, despite all our prayers, I lost the pregnancy. It was one of the most devastating moments of my life. The pain was overwhelming, and I felt as if my world was crashing down before my own very eyes.
But my friends never left my side. They took turns caring for me, encouraging me, and helping me through those hardest moment of my life. Their kindness, comforting words, and their presence gave me the strength to keep going. There were moments when I felt like I was losing myself in grief, but they stood firmly beside me through thick and thin.
Their presence reminded me that even in the midst of great loss, I was not alone.Their support really helped me heal. And I count myself fortunate to have them as my friends.
