so this is the sketch concept design not far from the reference. though a did a couple of sketches
I went with this one
Fleshing out
so here i added the Destails and well this was the orginal idea of the shield.
But During the INking process, i realize the shield felt to much so i toned it down.
also at this point went ahead and did the frame or card

Pretty happy and how it tunred out, next step to color it

and yeah at this point i felt i went a little overBoard. so i Rewaind a bit. you know what they say less is more :)
So overALL this was a fun expirence I hope you enjoy this art as much as i did :)
