Riding Next to the South African Coast | DTube Cycling Vlog

Today I went riding next to the South African coast, on the R44 road from Gordons Bay to Rooiels. It is one of my favorites roads to ride on and I would do it more often if the wind wasn't always so bad in the area. On my way back I went up Steenbras Dam climb, which I'm sure sounds familiar if you have been watching my previous videos.

Today there was not a lot of wind, and it was very cool.
I don't have a problem cycling against a strong headwind, but the reason I avoid this route when the wind is blowing is just for safety reasons. There is not a big shoulder to ride on and if the wind isn't blowing you in the direction of the ocean then it is in the way of the traffic.
