When was the last time you felt loved?
A no-brainer question for some but a tricky question for many. Curious about my answer? Always.
In connection to my post yesterday, Bro. Arun Gogna further reminded us of life's biggest goal which is to love. And while walking home tonight, a feeling so light suddenly tapped my shoulders like a playful friend. Instantly, a glowing smile was carved in my lips. I don't know where it came from but I couldn't help but feel blessed to experience a moment of silence and serenity in the middle of the bustling Cebu City. I felt love was poured into my heart as if telling me that things might not be at their best now but all is well. All is well.
But seriously, to answer the question above, one of the most recent events that I felt so love was when my boyfriend asked me out for a date. It's not like we've been away from each other for too long; we've actually been spending more spontaneous night outs together than we did in the last years. But he knows that I always crave for intimate quality time together; no phones, no emails, no work, no social media, just the two of us happily drifting in each other's company. And this time, he nailed it, again. He picked the location and the activity. He brought me to one of his favorite coffee shops and prepared a sweet surprise that drew our hearts closer. He even did his research just to pull off this special night. For busy and thriving young professionals like us, being intentional in the things we do together as a couple could definitely make or break our relationship. I'm just grateful for a partner who might not be perfect but always gives his best for me and for us. He set the bar high! 鉂わ笍
I hope you encounter the same patient, innovative and undying love! 馃グ鉂わ笍
