The problem most times, is not that we do not desire change but that's where it ends.
Reflecting on my life Transition, I see change to be driving by three factors.
Desire
Decision
Execution
I'm writing these in respect to my personal experience.
I had a lot of things I needed to change in my life but couldn't. I desire change, decided to change but executing my decision was the problem and I can tell you for free that decision without execution is likely procrastination.
Other cases only desire change. No decision is taking let alone execution. The worst of it is when the desire for Change is not even there.
And you can see that these three factors are most times fuel by our experience.
Just yesterday, something of these nature was discussed in a public gathering am present and an elderly man there was sharing how he stopped his addiction to alcohol.
Its was a little bit amusing though. So he wakes up one day and saw him self in a big mud. He was drunk and obviously fell in the mud while returning home and sleeps there. He is a highly respected person in the town but that morning, everyone was there staring and talking picture and videos of him.
He stood on his feet and immediately walked home, take his bath and begin to reflect on the humiliation he received.
That afternoon, he decided to quit alcohol.
Its is said that experience is the best teacher. Yes it is .
But we could always change from other people experience. But no; most often, we get to experience the same thing before changing. That's if we do change.
Is it that hard?
Humans come, humans go but the earth reminds the same. Thousand generations pass but history seems to only repeat it self in the kind of society and people we are.
Maybe is because of our differences, as another man's food could be another man's poison; What others see to be wrong is the very thing another person's believe to be right.
That's all for now.
